i believe it is made out of plastic, but the barrels do turn when you pull the trigger. i think that is what he said in an earlier post

Not really on topic for the thread but I'll answer. I made it from junk at Home depot. It's a powerdrill and a 100 little bits from the plumbing department. I've always built props and stuff like that. I am trying to get started on a Full Size Home Depot Terminator Endoskeleton to hold that very same gun. ... I can answer this for sure. My friend over revved my V (despite the hour long talk we gave him about how powerful the V was). He did a power wheelie and the PRM rack snapped off like it was made from cardboard. The taillight was damaged the extremely rare martix carbon body on my V was slightly damged too.

hit it hard? Yea I guess so, he went from a dead stop, straight to a wheelie. He was on pavement, I guess that made a difference. But it broke so easily it appeared it would have broken even on dirt.

He was fine BTW, not a scratch.

Eeehhhhuuuu! I just bought a AC six pack rack because the dealer was out of the PRM racks....it was 10 bucks more money, it looks shiney enough.....but MAN does it stick up in the air...

It's at an odd angle. I guess it's suppose to help it NOT break off but it makes it look like it's mounted wrong or something it sticks up in the air.....uggg!...... if you have the choice the PRM rack looks better im my opinion.

And no I can't take it back, once you mount it it's not returnable. Sucks!
