What do you mean "single speed"? It has high and low range. Or are you referring to it being an auto?

The P700 will remain the same for 05. Now you have the best of both..As far as rough handling a high speeds????.....are you guys saying it handles worse than any other irs at top speeds?..Were you really expecting the irs to handle the same as a SRA?..C'mon....I found that the BF was pretty stable compared to a 700 sportsman......and certainly moreso than the grizzly. Clearance from the bottom is 10.6" so I find it is more stable than the others...and i dont want to hear about needing higher clearance going through mud bogs etc...i've had a 700 almost a year and i go through that stuff like nobodys business....power means something.

Guys..instead of the speculation and passing on 25th party info, wait till they hit the stores and see for yourself..thats the best way to judge. I liked it but my preference is still the SRA...then again, I'm not a speed freak and really like the low centre of gravity and superior handling to that of any IRS.

I m in the market for another quad. I had finally decided on the Grizzly until I saw the BF. A couple of things are making me still side with the Grizzly.
#1 The grizz has the reputation, that in itself means alot.
#2 I dont understand the floorboards not having at least a metal plate. ?????
#3 The price is higher than I expected plus in the beginning, dealers arent going to come off the price.
#4 1st yr production on most things is always a bad idea. I dont want to be the test dummy.

Now as far as the handling goes at high speeds, thats not a concern for me. There are few places that I ll be running 30+ mph thru the woods. Speed on a quad just isnt my thing. I like to ride slow and enjoy it. Having said that, just the thought of the low end torque of the BF just makes me smile.

Personally, I think the BF will be a great machine. It may take a yr or so to work out the bugs but in the end, I think it ll be a good quad.

Shadowmaker I'm refering to this. Kinda misleading it says I range CVT transmission and down farther it gives the gear rations indicating 2 ratios.

From everything I ve read and according to the people who have test ridden them, that is a typo. It s suppose to have high and low range, not just high.

Go here and read about the drive/engine/chassis, https://atvconnection.com/atvconnect...rute-Force.cfm

There's going to be people that tell you completely opposite, but I just have to throw my 2 cents into the pot here. One of my friends has an '03 Grizz and it's given him nothing but problems. He bought it new and it's only got about 900 miles on it.

Im with you Goblin,I must object..Ive heard nothing but Bi^%h'in about Grizzleys..maybe its where youre from in the country..like an ad campain or something..and I must interject.. the name is Brute Force 750i..as in Independent rear..just like the articats..and yes..it clearly has a high and low range ..just look at the photos..its right there..it would make no sense what so ever to have a single tranny ratio..on a side note..you wouldnt believe how many honda ppl laugh at my Kawi..:"I would never own a belt drive machine, theres just no reliabilty there..itll let you down," all while looking at there belt drive sleds and waiting for there Rincons to get out of the shop..ROFLMFAO

I know what I think about the Brute Force, I think I want one.(lol) Yes heyyou, I'm working on getting one.

As far as it being a new model and waiting, mosts of the parts are proven with the Prairie so I have no problem getting the 05 at all.

I just hope we can get *Camo in Canada*, it seems we must have the Liberals controlling the imports or is it the red commies? Who knows, but many of us still love hunting and blending into our environment, even though the Liberals want us all...

Please Kawi, let us have *Camo in Canada*, even honda is offering black now but people want CAMO, you will have more sales if you offer it I am sure.

Please, pretty please.

ps. I still think that on the fly ajustable supension would be really cool like some cars have now, down for speed, up for mud/rocks. Make it better on CB's and safer at high speeds but still have the ability to rock climb and go through mud. Maybe an aftermarket company could come up with something.

I m not brand loyal so my comments are unbiased.

The 02 and 03 Grizz seem to have the same problems. Servos, vapor lock and axle breakage. The 01/04 had some problems most vapor lock IRC but not like these 2 yrs. And yes, some problably have had no problems but those yrs seem to be the "bad yrs" for those problems. If I m not mistaken, in 04 the Yamaha went back to the 01 axles and the problem seems to be fixed. Vapor lock still occurs but not as much as before.

Thats what I m worried about on the BF. How do we know Kawai didnt change some of the Prairie proven parts on the BF? This could be both good or bad. Did Kawai have an IRS machine before, (sorry I m unsure)?

I like the BF just scared of that 1st yr production problems/bugs that occur.
