Brute Force Thoughts
#24
How could people think that the BF is ugly? I think the current Prairie is the one that's plain and unattractive.
That damn Brute Force is gorgeous! Looks tough, I'm sure it sounds tough, and hopefully the rear axles ARE tough.

CV joint stress goes up dramatically with increased axle angles. It looks like they kept the angles low. Might not have as much GC as other machines, but might not pop axles as easy as a griz. I am just guessin, but in the photos I haven't seen the rear end stuck up in the air very high. See this photo.
Wow, I just saw how big the gas tank is.

I think that big gas tank your refering to is actually a storage box beside the gas tank so it looks like one big tank. Not sure on this, from what Mike W. said in another post there is a storage container on the right hand side. If its not a storage container then big tirese are going to rub HARD.
The axles in that picture do look like the angle is lower than most and that means less ground clearance. But in another picture I seen it looked like they were at just as much an angle as other IRS quads. So until the specs are out we will have to keep wondering.

no..thats part of the gas tank..its 20.5 litres
28" tires will be very very close to rubbing....I'm thinking you'll have to go a little smaller.
There is no storage box on this ATV. tools are under the seat...as is the bypass used to reset the belt warning indicator and the prime switch( there is no reserve. fuel bar will flash when theres 1 1/2 litres left in the tank).
With the prime switch, you dont have to run the ignition waiting for the vacuum to suck in the fuel, the prime switch bypasses and fuel goes in direct.
