How can you guys be disappointed? It is the best in the industry. It is just plain awesome.
I realize that not every aspect of it is perfect. I found something that the biggest whiners are gonna point out, but I feel that they had to do some things that they did to keep the weight down. The floor boards appear to be one piece. If you bust one chunk off the flap, you gotta get the whole floorboard (or use goop and plastic ties). But heck, that is no show stopper for me. Gimme that BF now!

Here is a quote from my dear friend Doug Meyers im his email to me of this morning ( (Host of ATV Television...whom I might add has designated the Praire ATV of the year the last two years:
"I hear from my guy that went that it very fast but handles worse than any ATV he's ridden - supposedly (he says) they got it way wrong. HE claims he'd rather ride the first Sportsman 700 even! We'll see, I get mine in the next week or two. I really don't want to depend on anyone else's opinion. But I got a feeling it's tires and not geometry as the Grizzly got so much improved with radials."

P.S. Before, Nyroc....you take another shot at my childhood Christmas experiences, consider that I cried, you cried, we all cried when we didn't get what we wanted...at that age......it worked! Often, in those early years, success was highly probable utilizing the tear method. Buy quickly your Brute Force my friend. But if its alright with you, I'll wait another year.

I think it looks pretty good from the side, but from the front it is queer looking, almost like a Yugo with a big bumper on it. The color choices leave a bit to be desired as well, with baby **** yellow looking better than dull green or dull red. Does anyone have pictures of a camo Brute Force?
I also wonder what kind of suspension travel numbers they gave us with those very flat across rear a-arms? It would bite for the Grizzly and Sportsman to have 9.5" of suspension travel, and the Brute Force to have 5.9"

First off wheel cow...your buddy's friend doesnt say why it rides so bad. I dont know what that guys been smoking..but i sure dont want any of it...But I tell you what..instead of relying on 3rd hand info..I'll give you first hand info.
Yesterday.....I rode...along with 9 other people, the Brute force..and for good measure, we also tested it along with a 700 sportsman and a grizzly.
The grizzly came in last in the general consensus and the sportsman didnt fare much better. crappy foot brake too far back to be comfortable..loose and tippy on the corners..no-where near the grunt of the brute force and didnt have the response in steering like the brute force.
But be happy in waiting another year to see what happens...another year of watching some elses tail lights
Happy trails!

Hey wheelcow, I quickly removed what I wrote about christmas so I wouldn't have to apologize for it later (right after I wrote it). I hoped nobody saw that.
I am sorry for insulting your childhood.
I wish I hadn't seen that second oppinion about the handling. One guy says it handles best. The other guy says it is awful. I may not wait till next year to buy, but I will wait until some more people test ride it and give it the thumbs up on handlng before I shovel out the cash. If it doesn't look good on handling, I won't touch it. I bet the P700 with A-arms is better than the strut monsters we have now.
Thanks for the info kawaiguy. So you are saying the suspension is more tuned for play, and not so much for travel? I guess you can adjust it any way you like?

You got it..you can adjust it..5 positions to play with. Best thing is to play with it yourself on a test drive when they come into the dealership. Not sure when they are gonna be in the U.S. but in Canada, they should be in dealers stores the first week in August.
