I'm not disapointed in the bike or motor just disapointed in that the limit is still 800 cc with just a bore job or 850 cc with a stroker kit. I wish they increased the stroke instead of the bore, that would be cool and allow for alot more headroom when it comes to big bore kits. Oh well. Can't have everything I suppose.

I see the Recoil on the pics, It definately has a recoil....and besides, you know its possibly UK gets different options than USA, they do it all the time with Bikes.
Well, the 'I' is in front of the tranny specs, so it must mean 'infinite' or some other I word that means that. The TRANSFER CASE is not the transmission, so it's still hi and lo.

I think this newest Kawi big bore is going to be a hit.

Personally, I think they went a little too radical with the body design on the front plastic, but I say that about everything new that has cropped up in recent years. It always takes a bit of getting used to.

As for the rear IRS.....That is the current wave of things to come from the Japanese companies.

Not hard to come to this conclusion since there have been 4 new Japanese models introduced in the last 4 weeks with it......

Suz KingQuad, Kaw Brute Force, and now the Kodiak 400 and 450.

There is a decent write-up on the new BruteForce750 and KingQuad700 in the new issue of DirtWheels, but doesn't really give any more info than what I have seen here and elsewhere on the net......No ride tests either.

SO jaymeangreen and redglobin WHAT DO WANT TO HEAR I TOLD YOU SO.
As I said before the best would be 750 V without efi.
Do you want me to rube it in. IRS was a give me.
I'm just glade the V-twin is still an option.
The machine is butt ugly, another forum has a link with about 50 pictures.

I hope you dont have the same taste in women archer..youre missing out..come on guys...you cant have he same design as the p700...it wouldnt work practical wise...or are you just talking about the humps..if thats all it is, that the least of our worries..I kinda like the fact that it will kick every other stock machines butt.

Whoa, whoa, whoa! You ranted and raved about how the machine was going to be a KingQuad clone. You can't say "I told you so". Do I really have to go back and prove it?

RedGoblin, I had some time to search, here is 1 statement from archer101:

Don't hold your breath on the Brute force.
It will be at best a big single 700 with efi. and irs.

All this brute force crap with duel v-750 is a bunch of crap. IF Kawisaki has anything to do with it, they will work in the area of efi and irs.
as taken from this post:

So archer101, you should really start gloating now cause you were dead on weren't you? The only thing you got right is that it has IRS.

I think Kawasaki did a great job, more power, larger carbs, IRS, a different look and the same weight.

I see the humps in the front and doing away with the cheap black plastic on the sides as adding strength to the plastic.

I don't care for the Irs for pulling, but it is the best rideing system out.

Thanks Kawasaki for listening to the public and delivering. Bom and Polaris has been rumoring 800cc for a year now, when will they learn that when they rumor, Kawasaki just steps up and does it. They are making us better. Sure they have EFI, but who cares, The only way to modd EFI is to have someone makes a chip, good luck. Remember how long it took for us to get a CDI and there's a lot more Prairies out there than 700 EFI's..

I'm suprised there isn't someone on here saying, why didn't they make one with gears!

Maybe archer101 was in a state of denial about the Brute Force. I think he waited for the 05 line-up and only bought his P700 a few weeks ago. I remember how some people felt when they got a good price for the 03 650, only to have the new 04 700 appear in the showrooms the next week for $500 more than they paid? That's got to hurt.
