What grade of gas do you run in your fourwheelers, and what type of fourwheeler do you have??

I run Mid-Grade in both of mine.

 

anything. Sometimes the cheapest 87 octane, sometimes I'll put in 91. We don't have a place that sells 93 around here. 87 works just fine.

 

premium in the banshee the other 3 depend..... if I have to fill up the truck they run regular if im not filling up the truck they run regular in them.

 

nothing but the best unless it's really hot I will drop down to the midgrade because it runs a little cooler.

 

my question is this..with the dg3 installed I thought I heard mention that you need to run 91..ive only run 87..any one know the answer to that..ive searched the forum and didnt locate any thing pertinant..

 

and I just noticed..super premium at 2.05 a gallon..man I would be lucky as hell to find 87 at 2.10 a gallon..

 

Always 93. Currently @ $1.94. 3000mi on my Prairie 650. Never a problem.

 

as a mechanic i know that running any grade of gas higher than recommended in your manual is a waste.you will actually lose power unless your engine is set up to run higher octane(higher compression).High octane gas has less energy per gallon than reg gas.

 

The label under the seat of my 2002 Prairie 650 states "91MIN." Around here our options are 87, 89 and 93.
