it took myself, and 4 helpful spectators to get mine unstuck,
a couple of other racers (from the next starting row) jumped off their bikes to try to help, since I was blocking the track, and their like ($$%&# THAT) hate to be you...and made a new trail around me...lol!
yea" I know what you mean, nothing like driving 20 hours round trip, spend $600, and to not even finish the first lap.........
I am not blaming the V, I think it's an awesome bike, and has served me well.......it just sux to get it stuck.........

GE4x4,
Great write-up. Congrats on your finish. I'm jealous. I was bitten by the race bug last year at age 50. My first race was an AMA National Hare & Hound Scrambles in the west desert. Finished 17 out of 26. I raced my Vinson. I was the only sport/utility. Only 1 quad class too. Everyone else had sport bikes. It was brutal. I bought my V after that. This year only 13 quads showed up for that race.
I wasn't one of them. Speaking of bad luck. I flipped on a steep climb during another Hare & Hound scrambles last Aug. 7 broken ribs and a punctured lung that wouldn't stop bleeding.
So I bought into a new MX track being built in south central Utah. We should be opening soon. At least I can practice anytime I want.
Good luck to you and be safe! Don't let the adrenaline get the best of you.
