How do you remove it, just fill the radiator and plug the hole where it hooks into the coolant bottle? Do you think I would be able to just unplug the ignition and it would still work or would I have to do somthing else?
Do not plug the radiator overflow hose. Just put a tube on it and route it down past the bottom of the frame somewhere.
you can just leave the ignition unplugged and use the kill switch on the bars to cut it off. If you add an aftermarket kill switch just wire it across either the ignition switch wires or the kill switch wires.

Question: What is wrapped around the header pipe ?

Thanks, Lisa
That is header wrap that is often used on race cars. It holds heat in the header for a better scavenge of the exhaust gases and therefore more power. It also keeps my leg cooler. I used it only because I have not had time or money for ceramic coating yet. The wrap is wonderful but can hold water under it after getting wet and cause some rusting problems. My header is now at the ceramic coaters and they tell me I cannot run the wrap over the coating because it will make it blister, so the wrap is gone. But it does work and work well.
