I have done this convertion on mine while I had it. You install the stock #140 lakota main jet in the mojave carb and turn the air/fuel mixture screw out 3 1/2 turns. You will have to go with a clamp on filter (Uni about $15) as the stock air box boot won't fit the majove carb. I also opted for the 12T sprocket when I did this.

It was a very good mod and I felt it was one of the better ones I did to the Lakota

I don't have my lakota any more but I loved the stabalizer, it worked real well. I bought it due to heavy fatige while racing, it worked out real well.

I doubt the mojave carb could ever be fitted to the stock lakota air box. the air intake side of the mojave carb is quite a bit larger than the lakotas.

I also had no water problems while using a clamp on.

STEBOB,

Been doing graet. Some how I got the big ones to quit my job of twenty one years, during a failin economy. But then I decided to have a fith child, and then started my own Biz. Now try to chew on that one.

I still ride, ran the south eastern regional arena cross series last year with my son. Have not raced quite yet this year due to my son has had inguries of a bad quad accident he just got over.

We have been practicing and mustering up a game plan for my son to make a run for his third state title and then move up to the 125 class.

The KX250 is now not only dialed in but down rite leathal!!!!!! Been enjoying everything, still work on alot of quads. Still have my 92 LT250 but a 88 250R project I'm on.

Kids home gotta run, See Ya
