what mods do you have on your [green] bayou[/green] 220 i am fixing to buy a beat up bayou 220 off of my friend and i was wanting to know what you have done to make it a better machine.
i am thinking of putting a k&n power kit on mine and a supertrapp ids 2 pipe on it or a cobra which is better, put in a wiseco high performance piston in it and put and put a set of pure sports realtor back tires mounted on steel rims and put trail wolfs on the front.does anyone know if you can port and polish a four stroke and if you can buy a rear axle off of a bayou 300 and mount it on the 220.
does any body know of a company that makes a set of shocks for the 220.
thanks

One suggestion, before spending all that money on a 220, why not take the money & quad & trade it in on something bigger? Then you will be faster than your buddy & your machine is stock.

Because If you go on trails then a bigger quad can be a bigger problem. Alot of people think because their quad is bigger or faster it makes it better well maybe the faster part does but buy somthing that is right for you size. So i think you should do that stuff just make sure its worth it.
