Default new KX-450F.........?

I know this is a little off topic but has anybody heard about Kawasaki comming out with the new 450 4-stroke race bike? I mean Suzuki already has theirs out so whats up with Kawasaki? I'm looking at buying one if they come out with it by next year. I know their comming out with a new machine soon becuz my local Kawasaki/Suzuki dealer is getting rid of their brand new KFX/Z 400's at prices like $4600. Compare that to $5700! But if anybody has heard let me know......THANKS

KDXRyder,

Check out the Suzuki forum with this one! There are some rumors about it but nothing set in stone. My suggestion if you want a 450-4stroke, get the z400 or KFX400 and get the Alba or Yoshimura bore kit, to make it a 450! You would be flyin'! Check it out. Alba

Their selling the 04 KFX400s at a low price because there's already an 05 KFX advertised on Kawasaki's web site, which should be available shortly. There's some additional benefits to the new model. Out of the gate I heard there's upgraded suspension, different cams, different carb, etc. Buy an 04 for cheap and pump it out with the savings.

You can get bore kits that will work in a drz400 bike as well.

Default new KX-450F.........?

Ya i know that sounds like a good idea its just that......I don't have the money on hand and I just started working weekends at $5.25/hr and usually make close to $100 bucks a weekend. Thats why i'm looking for a new machine for next year when i have the money. But just recently i crashed my dads KX250 and i broke my hand and today i'm going to see a surgeon so i might need surgery.( Nothing happened to the bike)
But i have two friends and one bought the brand new Artic Cat DVX 400 and the other a Limited Edition Z400. And the one was saying that his DVX received all the updates my other friends Z would receive for 2005. And now i see why his DVX is so much faster than my other friends Z; becuz of the new carb, cam, suspension, plus the DVX is lighter! So my friends prolly gunna flip when i tell him his machine is so mush better. Plus i think he got a defect Z becuz he got a Limited Edition Z at like $4900 but whenever he rev's it......it still blows blue smoke out........just barely but it is noticable and you can smell it. But i say its still not broken in yet. My one friends DVX runs perfect.....but hes also rolled it once. So we say my one friend has to roll his Z to break it in completely.
