I have a friend with a carb problem on a 04 suzuki eiger. I know I am in the wrong section but couldn't get many answers over there and they are all about the same anyway. Anyway he said it is putting fuel in the gas,kind of freeflowing. Took the carb off and checked the needle and said it looked fine and said he looked at the choke and it looked fine. Checked the vent tube and it wasn't stopped up. What do you all think. I say there is a problem with the needle or the choke one and he has not found it but could it be something else.

 

the needle valve is stuck open or the floats are stuck open.

 

Buy a better carb.

 

I have fixed a ton of carbs with this problem. The Needle vavle is stuck. Free it up and it should be fine.
