LOL, DOA sound isnt everything. Power isnt everything, but useible power is. Also, if Kawi wont let the BF run and Suzuki lets the KQ run then what do you say.

Please dont be like the Honda guys and be so blind not to look at other options.

Kissofdeath is right the King Quad will be a great machine maybe not as smooth as the v-twin but with f.i. the throttle response will be very quick. It also has a very large bore and short stroke which should equal tons of low and mid range power. It sits lower with a lower seat height, than the Brute Force so handling should be better.I think this will be a good shoot out, please dont be so brand loyal you cant see another winning machine.

You said it. I think the KQ will be the true King of Quads when all is said and done or at least until they make a 800cc machine! Can't wait to get me one.

Whoops, we got a fact backward there, my friend.

Oversquare (bigger bore) motors are more capable of HIGH rpm power than the equivalent undersqaure (long stroke) motor which is better at low rpm power.

The only reason almost every ATV is Oversquare (including the 650) is that you can pack more displacement into an engine with less weight and size than an undersquare motor.

There are advantages to undersquaring, but high RPM power isn't one of them. There are disadvantages to having a bore as big as the KQ bore, none of which really mean a whole heck in an ATV motor. It was smart for them to make the stroke short to minimize engine weight and size.

That is not to say that the KQ doesn't have low RPM torque. The camshaft has a whole lot more to do with the torque curve than bore vs stroke.

The KQ has DUAL couterbalance shafts. It may sound like a grizzly, but I bet it doesn't shake like one.

LOL, Kisssofdeath, maybe years from now they will discover micro needles in the seats of Hondas that injected a mind altering drug into the rider's fanny and brainwashed them into liking an inferior quad.

Not that it matters, but when my BF had around an hour on it, I briefly ran it to 66 mph. It has 5 hours on it now and tonight I got a top speed of 68 out of it.

I don't plan to put big tires on it. I can't decide which tires I want for it. I've narrowed it down to 25' Mud Lites, 25' Bear Claws or ATR's.

I'm not saying Kawi is the start-all/end-all but they are the *only* one making the V for ATV's.

If yamaha was to make one I would take a very serious look at it, I did own a Yamaha Virgo 1000V and loved it.

As it is though, Kawi is the only maker on the block that will satisify me, you simply can't go back to a single, there is no way.

For those who love the self imposed King, go to Suzuki, those of you who want the self embosed best, go to the honda.

I 'l' stay with the BIG V, theres' not a one lunger in the world that will EVER change my mind on this one.

To those who haven't run Kawi's BIG V,

JUST DO IT, there is simply NO comparasion out there, no other Vengine.

DOA
