Well now that you have a little more time in the sattle do you still think the P700 is the way to go? Is the power sliding on the BF still a little stiff?

OUTRAGE,

I think that you have to evaluate what type of riding you mostly do to determine which one is best for you. The BF and P700 were developed for different purposes. For me, the BF is the way to go because I ride in deep water and mud. If you ride mostly on tight trails then the P700 is the way to go. My BF is breaking in very nicely and the power is staggering and the handling seems to be getting better also. I'm also putting new tires on to make it even better. I'm learning how to power slide with an IRS quad better, just was not used to it. It has no equal in nasty terrain so it was the obvious choice for me. It's also very smooth and comfortable at any speed which is nice. My only gripe with the Prairie's that I owned was the less than comfortable ride due to the SRA.

Sounds like a great machine. Here's why I ask which machine is better:

1. I currently live in Alaska and ride in some real nasty stuff

2. I'm in the Air Force and move around a lot so my next assignment may have mostly tight trails

3. Don't have money to buy both so I'm stuck deciding on one

Thanks for the all the info.

Well, that's a difficult one because you may be transferred to an area that the riding areas are confined to tight trails. For Alaska, I don't think there's any question which one you should get, the Brute Force. However, should you be transferred to an area that is mostly tight trails then you should consider a Prairie 700.

I wouldn't gt to caught caught up in which one because they both are so awesome and head and shoulders above anything else. Also, maybe look at other questions for yourself such as:

1. would you like a smoother ride or are you just fine with SRA?
2. do u have to have the absolute fastest quad?
3. is riding position a consideration for you? the BF is more upright and comfortable.

If you want my opinion, which means absolutley NOTHING, I would get the BF. The more I ride it, the more I fall in love with it.

However, if price is a consideration, the P700 is MUCH cheaper than the BF.

The more I here about it it sounds like the BF is the way to go. How much are we talking in price difference? Also maybe the King Quad will be a little more sporty than the BF? This would be much easier if you could just ride them before you buy them and I'm talking parking lots either.

The brute force sounds like the V-force with 4 wheel drive!

Cam, I have a brother that lives in Mustang(on 5 acres) I also have a stock V-force, I would like to meet up sometime, and see how the Brute force and the V compare in power/acceleration. It sounds like the BF can hold its own.

biggerisbetter,

I'll be glad to meet you guys but I doubt very seriously a BF can hang with a V. I have no basis for this statement other than the V weighs less and is tuned differently. I know the BF has more cc's but i'm not sure how that would translate in a drag. Sounds fun though so send me a private message and we can set it up. I'll be glad to do it, it'll be fun to report on it on the forums.

Well the V-force SHOULD win, I am just curious by how much. If its only a couple lenghts then that in its self is a win for the BF.

I am going on Vacation nextweek, so it might be the week after when we will be able to meet up(sorry guys) I will send you a PM.
