On Kawasaki's website, it shows a picture of the of the quad with the storage tube attached. I have read that this is an accessory and some have said it is standard equipment and the dealers are supposed to attach it at set up. Anybody know the real story behind the storage box?

Also, has anyone seen a camo one yet at their dealers yet? I am going to hold out and get the camo edition. I am getting anxious to get this quad now that my 400ex is gone. I have a ride next weekend (slow, easy ride). I was hoping to have it by then, but may be riding the Ozark instead.

I looked at the camo yesteday at Wilkesboro, NC. I also asked the salesman about the storage box and he said it was an option.

Thanks. I am going to call the salesman later today and see if he knows when he is getting it in. This dealer moves a lot of machines, so I would think they are higher up on the food chain, but who knows. I am going to see if he will order the storage box for it so it is here when the quad gets in.

Maybe he will toss it in free. This reminds me of the 02 P650s coming without a hitch. When the 03 came out the hitch was included. I bet the storage on the BF will be the same way.

When I bought my 02 P650 the black plastic rack covers were standard items. I heard of several dealers wanting to charge extra for them. It amazes me what dealers will do to squeeze more money out of the buyer. EX, freight and assymbly charges.

I have to speak up.(LOL)

How in the world could anybody go back to a single cylinder after running the beautiful VTwin?

It's beyond my comprehension how anybody could go for the PUTT PUTT PUTT BLAAA compared to the VEROOM RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE of the V.

For me it would be like going from a motorcycle back to a ten speed bicycle.

I will NEVER go back(wards),

You got to LOVE the V and it's only offered by KAWASAKI.
