Tough starting Mojave only when warm

I would have to agree with what is being said about the valves and how Chris explained it. I know I haven't adjusted my valves and I do need to see how they are set.
Like Procomp said keep the info coming, I am learning just like he is. Lt. Dan

Just talked to the owner. He checked the valves again and they appeared to be set correctly. He also took apart the carburator again and the internals looked good. He told me he turned out the pilot screw 3 full turns (more than the manual says as it say 1-3/4 I believe) and its starting fine when warm. I'll keep you all posted if he calls me back with any issues. I guess some of you were right with regards to air/fuel issues when warm. This is a new one for me.
Thanks for all your help. Got a love the net for this type of resource. Enjoy your Mojaves.

Glad things appeared to work out for him. I'll have to try adjusting mine. It is nice that you can get helpful information here on the forums
