Default Front Shocks for Mojave

Might anyone have a suggestion for some front shocks that will fit the Mojave? Like something off of another quad with better boingers, such as off of a 300ex? I just got a TRX250R rear shock which has the seperate reservoir- a killer deal at $204 delivered!
Thanks

Thanks-- now if I can just figure out this PM thingy. Oh- by the way, way back when, I happened upon a piar of Blaster front Shocks- would need a little grinding to fit- But how good are they?

I've ridden a Blaster but have no idea on how they'd work on the mojave. Maybe the addict or lurch would know.

Did you have to do any grinding or anything to make the 250r shock work? I want to do it to mine so I want to know what to expect.

ohhh You DONT want blaster shocks
Believe me!
You'd be better off with the stock shocks.....

Look into the 400ex shocks deal.....I hear they will fit a lakota or mojave without to much trouble...ive seen a few done....not a bad ordeal

Hey kwackerman

I sold you the KLR CDI, I had bought some like new TRX250r Shocks which are supposed to fit on the Mojaves. I never put them on since the stock Mojave mounts have to be modified a bit(spacers on the top and spread apart on the bottom) I never got to change them before my Mojave died. If you decide thats how you want to go let me know and I'll send you pics of the shocks.

There was a post on this sight last winter about mounting TRX250r Shocks to the Mojave, trick is finding it though.

So the mounts do have to be modified a little? Are their any shocks that are made that will mount up exactly?

Thanks Jeff-- I probably spoke before putting brain in gear. I'm pretty much over taxed right now and just flat out tired of working on the quad. So I'm just gonna let everything sit. That and other professional endeavors, y'know

250r frt shocks are to long to work right on the mojave. The rear 250r shock will work but not the frt unless you change shock mount locations. By the way, if he has not sold them yet. Greg at cwr has a sweet deal on a set of fully adjustable elkas that are for a mojave. If interested call him at 717 637 1907.
