I guess I just push it to far sometimes because I've managed to get stuck a few times with the p700. Finding a good place to put your tow strap on the front end of beast is not an easy task. Is it safe to hitch on to the front bumper or either of the racks for a pull. The rear end is usually buried in the mud and not easy to get to. About the only other place in the front is to go around the frame rails which appear to only be bolted to the frame like the bumper and racks.

If you find that you are always "pushing it too far", you could always mount a front reciever hitch on your quad ( there are several companies that offer them ), then a draw bar could be added, for pulling you out... they also make pull loops that mount to the front, & attach to the frame by use of a plate & 2 U-bolts...

I just run the line thru the gap where the winch mount area is, and tie the line to itself. Been pulled out of a dozen mudpits that way, and haven't had issues yet. Sometimes getting real muddy to get it down there is something I've learned to deal with.

I did exactly what you said the first time I got stuck Fifthhorseman and ended up bending that thin metal gold plate like piece that the strap pulls on a bit, you probably know what I'm talking about. Now I weave it through the two black vertical frame tubing rails (front end) that appear to be bolted onto the bottom of the frame. How about around the bumper or racks? Bad idea or what? They seem to be bolted to the frame the same way the rails I just talked about is.
