Will Kawasaki come out with a new quad next year or not!!!!!!!!

Exactly correct, Roostking. I was under the impression that the Kawasaki racer was being developed with future production in mind. This is not the case. Their program is into its second year and Doug Roll is still designing/building the chassis's for these machines. Surely Kawasaki would have the necessary facilities to do this sort of work, but they are not. That leads me to believe that the race effort is directed at winning and not developing a new machine. Into its second year I would expect a machine with more Kawi parts. Also the engine is still just a KX 250 motor. No counter balancer means it will never see a production machine. Just my opinion.
While I am impressed with the machine, it is really just like all the other top racer's are riding with a kawasaki motor. There are only minor differences in the frames built by Honda and the ones built by the after market outfits. The biggest difference is material, strength and weight. The geometries are very close. In fact, the Arens chassis is identical to the 89 Honda frame except it is made from Chromoly steel, and has a removeable rear subframe.

I wholeheartedly agree with yall but what the boss wants (japan) and the workers want(Us) are 2 different things maybe we should get together hammer duncan, lrd etc and see if they would build us quads for x amount of dollars and just surpass the factories all together.I mean look at what they are building they r kicking the patootie out of the mfgs.

Those guys don't build complete machines. They also don't have the recources to crank out lots of frames. Besides, do you think the price of AXIS shocks will drop? How about any of the other componants? Then, who will make the brakes? There is just so much involved that it would be too expensive for them to do. Look at Last Rebel Racing's Pro Star 250. I do not believe they started out to rip people off. They sold a few race ready machines that were by most accounts junk. I think that if you want a race machine, you will have to build it yourself.

Your quad will be fast, however it will vibrate like there is no tomorrow and will crack the frame just from the harmonic vibrations. I suggest that you talk to Alan Knowles at CT Racing who has lots of experience with these types of machines. I was planning a 250R framed CR500, and he talked me out of it. Just a suggestion.
