Default Good machine thats not hugely expensive

Ive been looking at a quad to get sometime that I could pick up for fairly cheap. What I mean Is I dont really want to spend $4K on a KFX400 or something like that.

Ive been looking at the Mojave, they seem like good machines, been looking at the blaster too but I like the mojaves 4 stroke. I like 2 strokes but for a mostly trail machine, I like the 4 stroke.

What other quads should I look into? I definatly want a manual/manual clutch. Plus something that has mods out there so I can get it going later on. So what quads would fit that arent too expensive.

Im also going to buy used.

I was looking at the 300ex but I really liked the mojave being a liquid and I thought the 300 was a autoclutch.

I wouldnt mind the 300ex if I took the ugly *** headlight off.
