I have a dilema cant decide between a v-force or raptor ive ridden a polaris sport 400 since 1999 so im used to the automatic .but it sure would be nice to pop a clutch now and then !!!!!!!!

If your over 6'2" the Raptor will be a little smallish, but it handles a hair better than the Vforce. The V is awesome, justpoint the bars and stab the gas.....yehaaaa.

I'd say you have to sit on or ride both, or else your just guessing....

I have a Raptor, but also bought a P700....and truthfully I like the Raptor, but I really love the P700 ......

 

Well, I traded a 2002 Yamaha Raptor in on a 2004 V-Force.... I think the KFX handles much better... My raptor was just a little tippy and would not slide very easy... I have owned a few Banshee in the past, so maybe I'm just used to the way they handle....

 

I have the luxury of owning both. I love each of them for different reasons. If I had to pick just one, I would honestly say that the V Force is a better all around quad and in my opinion is built much better than the Yamaha.

My wife would totally disagree and tell you to get the Raptor (she thinks the V is just too big and clumsy), so don't listen to others, they will just confuse you.

My advice is to ride both and pick the one that makes you feel the best.

 

As for poping the clutch, all you have to do is nail the gas and this thing will not only come up but the backend will fly right out from under you! trust me on that [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img] amazing power even while stock, I can't imagine it with all the powerup's I see these guys putting on it.

 

i really like the v force, but i hate the auto tranny and the heavy weight. i sat on one of these and it felt like a tank.

 

so id choose the raptor

 

You need to ride a quad in order to give a fair opinion.......Sitting on one is not the same as riding it....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

yeah, i am 5'9@150lbs and i have no problem throwing it around once it is moving.
