I have a 220 also and had the same problem it's your starter solenoid. The cheapest place I found a pipe was from bikebandit.com.

Make sure the donor booster ( your dads truck), is not running while jump starting. Automotive electrical systems can reach 16 volts, if they are running, because of the alternater. A quad or motorcycle may or may not be able to tolerate that much voltage. So if you jump it again, make sure the truck is off.

Thanx 4 the tip buster ill be sure to remeber that. Would it be bad for the bike if i put a larger battery in it like one out of a lawn tractor? (but still 12v)

You have to make sure it fits in the box on the quad, and the terminals will work out, and it has at least the same cold cranking amps as the original battery. Usually a lawn tractor battery isnt built tough enough, to withstand the abuse, a quad or motorcycle battery will. And thats why a motorcycle/quad battery costs more. Usually you get what you pay for.

Mexican I heard you replace a starter solenoid in your bayou 220 and i was wondering if you hand some diagram or electrical schematics when you wired it in. When i purchase my 1995 bayou 220, the starter solenoid was shot, so i bought a new one, and i cannot figure out how to hook it up. I would appreciate it if you could help me in some way!
