Default BF Jet Sizes

I figured that I's share this with my fellow forum members. This is straight from Kawasaki's tech support group...

Altitude Front Jet Rear Jet
-------------------------------------------------------------------
0-3900ft. (Stock) 152 158
3900-8200ft. 145 152
8200-11500ft. 142 148
11500+ You must be on Mt. Everest and I don't think an ATV is going to help you there!

Part Numbers for Jets
Number Jet Size
92063-1324 148
92063-1330 150
92063-1331 152
92063-1332 155
92063-1334 158
92063-1345 160
92063-1346 162

Now here my question, how do you change the main jets on the Keihin carb? I gleaned some info from Mr. Nyroc's Tech pages, but I'm still not clear. The dealer told me it's very easy but I can't seem to find out how it is done. Do you have to pull the float bowl to change the jet or is it something that I can get to from the outside of the carb?

Thanks Rotty! Looks like you do have to remove the float bowls, but it looks easy as pie...as long as you have good tools and don't strip anything!

You Also may want to go by ACE hardware and get you some Allen Head .04 X .12 metric screws (take one of your old screws to match up). Stock screws are very easy to strip. Dealers want entirely toooooooo much for their stock phillip head screws.
