Penland had the market on the lime green plastic and could ask that 700 price but now that Kawi has released the TEAM GREEN lime green plastics he lost his market. Not sure what he is asking for his now!

I wish kawi/suki would come out with white plastic, Or maybe penland racing could start offering white now that kawi green is being sold by the factory. I would pay 700 for a full set of white plastic.

Penland sure was sticking it to everyone with that $700 price tag. I heard from several people he was like that though.

I am not sure were everyone is finding the plastic prices for 400.00 but if you order every colored and every black piece of plastic its over 700.00 especialy if you need some screws, nuts and washers. I ordered only the black pieces that were broke, an asortment of screws, washers, nuts and the main colored plastic pieces (front, rear and center pieces) for my old P650 since most of the black has broke and the red is starting to look pretty rough.

I priced the parts at several discount places on line and compared the prices to list price and it looked like a decent deal at least better than I have found anywere else.

my total bill was for 564.00 including frt. If I had ordered all the pieces I am sure it would have ran over 700.00

I have never ordered plastic from penland but depending on what all you get it may not be as bad as everyone thinks

Kawi is very, very , very proud of there srews, nuts, and washers. the plastic ti not all that bad its the little stough that gets ya.

i bought my brother new fenders for his 02 prairie 650, the camo off ebay, all of the black pieces except the back pieces that say kawi. oh yeah, all of the screws, nuts, and what have you. all together i paid around 530 or so. the black pieces and the hardware was almost as much as the main camo fenders. ouch he had green fenders but they were trashed and just about all of the black pices were broken. you know clip a tree rip off the black trim, screw or bolt would stay in but the piece would break. MAN i have a rubicon and the plastic is great, no cracks or tears just had to replace some of the plastic push pins. no knock on kawi though because i'm buying a brute force, sick of losing in a drag race.
