brute force overheating
I'v had my bf for a couple of weeks and when I go on long rides it overheats, it has done it with the radiator completely clean and when there is a little mud build up it does it more often. I was wondering if anyone else was having these problems with theirs and anything I can do to fix this. I have already lenghthened the surround aroud the radiator to help splash protection to keep it from clogging, any help would be appriciated.

Have you checked your breaker for the Radiator fan, it is located under the seat.
My BF750 runs cooler than any of my P650s ever did, the fan comes on only once & awhile.
www.buykawasaki.com now have the skids plates available but they are not cheap.

I added the water wetter to my radiator last night. I added 3 oz directly to the radiator. We will see if it helps any. I have only had the hot light come on once and that was because I had the radiator plugged.
