Mojave Choke cable question
#1
I am in the process of resurrecting my '87 Kawasaki Mojave and the plastic threads on the carburetor end of the choke cable (at the starter plunger) are worn. I can get it to thread in and function, but I am concerned about the seal. I will probably end up getting a new choke cable, but was wondering how important the seal on the plastic threads at the choke plunger is.
Will air leaking in at this point effect the way the Mojave runs.
Thanks in advance!

i would get a couple of little rubber O-ring to put on the threads to seal it that seems to be my fix for everything along with zip ties and duck tape lol
