Default Steering dampener for Prairie

Has anyone put one of these on their Prairie? I am sure that it would have to be a modified version of one made to fit a different quad, right? I love riding mine fast on the trail, but hitting a rock or log at a moderate speed is VERY hard on my 40 year old wrists!

Well, Im right behind you at 37 but I dont have any problems with my wrist. Since I set my toe in to zero the bump steer hasnt been bad at all. Still, I wouldnt mind knowing a little more about what options I have on a steering dampener.

Does toe-out cause bump steer? Are the Dunflops contributing?

Just wondering about wider handle bars. I think more leverage would help. Especially after riding a Grizzly last weekend. It seemed alot easier to steer with my 44 year old wrists & shoulders. My Prairie seems so much narrower. The instrument cluster is a problem though since you need the welded mounting tabs.

The ATR Radial tires have greatly reduced bump steer on my 03 P650.

Before setting my toe-in to zero I had a lot of "darting" from side to side. Im talking about on strip bench, logging roads or whatever. With toe-in set at zero, now that is gone but it still grabs when hitting things. I think its the width of the front ATR tires.

KOD,
What is the toe in set at from factory? I know a little toe out gives you more steering in cornering, but it makes it wander in fast straights.
Thanks

Yes, KISSSOFDEATH
To support the question above. Where was yours when it darted? In or Out?
