Prairie rear shock
#1
Does anyone have a good, OEM parts source? My bud bent his rear shock on his 650 Prairie, and is having difficulties finding a replacement for less than $750. I told him I'd check w/ the experts..........So, experts, where do you Kawi lovers get your parts-cheap? He's been thru' e-bay, DKirk, etc.
Thanx!

I bought a kawi shock a long time ago because there wasn't anything else available. Now it turns out that the shocks are rebuildable, so I would take it to a shock expert and see if they can just replace the rod.

Thanks! I told Jim to take it to a shop/dealer, as it looked like a better shock than the run-o-the-mill OEM's. We're going to H/M in W.Vir. in Oct, so he needs to get a move on. How much, if you don't mind me asking, did the shock run you? I'm sure a rebuild would be cheaper.
