the stall in the spring will help keep you from wheelieing, but you need enough stall to brake the tires loose, which will of course effect the drivability of the quad in technical situations... IMO, the pink is not enough stall to do this, & is still within the range of technical riding...

BTW, my old ( OK, well it used to be ) 650, has no trouble with 700 Prairies, V Forces, Brute Forces, DS-650's, Raptors, EFI Sportsman's... in 2 wd mud drags, & informal trail drags... I'll be doing some organized dirt drags over the next few months, we'll see if I can stay unbeaten...LOL...

sometimes there really is no replacement for displacement... especially if you've done all the other mods to go with it... I'm hoping that with the Dyna CDI I just got, with it's additional timing advance, & rev limit, that I can get close to 80 mph in the 1/4 mile, at the strip, next Friday ( September 3rd )

Ok, add one more thing to the mix.. Im 5' 7'' 160 lbs he is 6' 2'' and around 260 lbs is this going to play much factor? should have said that sooner. I dont mind loosing a drag race to a sport quad since I can do alot of things that they can only sit and watch, but that damn p700 is going to cramp my style, Ive gotten used to being top dog out of the group I ride with.

a hundred pounds extra on the rider will help you out alot, weather its enough to beat him, only time will tell ( I don't fully understand why, but there are fast ones & slower ones, that seemingly are identical ) if you've got one of the fast ones, & his isn't, you stand a good chance of still beating him...

METAL... you are lucky... mine was always one of the slow ones... I always had the power to win in the mud, but when it came to top speed, mine was always behind... now I've invested thousands of dollars, to insure that mines fastest...LOL...

Im considering a call to FST, another guy I ride with has been out looking at the brute. Its not in my nature to lag behind, thats why I bought the prairie to begin with. Im thinking it would be cheaper to go the FST route than to buy a new one, then pay for all new mods. Does anyone really know if Kawi will have the EFI in a prairie?? That I would buy tommorow!!
