Best thing to do is go in and sit on a KX100 and sit on a KX125. There are a lot of rebates on Kaw dirt bikes right now!

I think you would be more happy with the 125 IMHO. Better suspension and a stronger powerband. I ride a KTM 125SX all the time, the 2 stroke 1-2-5's are a blast, kinda like riding a mountain bike with 40 HP . Don't get me wrong, you will have fun on the KX100. Just think you will out grow it's power fast.

I chimed in on the other KX100 post, and I will say the same thing here: The KX100 shouldn't be a choice for you. At six feet tall, you will feel cramped while in the "attack" position. The key factor in my decision is your height, not your weight or age. The seat height of the 100 is 34.3 inches, whereas the 125 is 37.2 (2005 model). That little 2.9 inches will make a big difference. The 100 is a transition bike for those riders who have already learned to control an 85, but aren't big enough for a 125 yet. You can pick up a good used 125 for less than a new 100, especially in DFW, so shop around.
