I just read your post on Kawie and thought that if the V tank doesn't work for you I could send you the info on how I made my tank that's between the frame where the storage compartment was.

Mine increases the capacity but with a little extra fabing to attach the sending unit it could possibly be used as a stand alone tank.

Mine is made of 316ss but after constructing it I think aluminum would be better.
