I heard the other day from a reliable source that Kawi may not be making the P750 because it would take away sales from the BF. I sure hope not.
If Kawi doenst come out with the P750 I will probably get the KQ700 for my next atv.

I JUST DON'T GET IT!!!!!!!! the 650p/700p took them to the top of the utility class......... then they want to finally go with IRS, which my dealer said a couple years ago CORPORATE KAWIE would never ever go with a irs, because they had to many moving parts and were not stable at speeds.
they want to take there original FLAG SHIP and flush it down the drain, just because of some stupid a$$ IRS, got the same front peak fenders like every sport quad, mumbo jumbo CORPORATE GUY saying i think i got a plan, lets take the prairie (the one that payed for my kids college fund) and junk it.
I THINK IF THEY WANTED TO KEEP THE BF IRS, FINE. BUT GIVE US THAT 750P SRA BEFORE YOU CAN IT. THAT WOULD BE THE LAST ONE I OWNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ditto. I know I would have gone over two weeks ago (going too fast backward) without the stable base I have in my old P650 pal. It was up on two wheels and just teetering, then came back down on its own, nothing I did. An IRS would have had me on the concrete. I don't think I can take too many more of those.
I also would buy a P750. That would be the last begging, cajoling, using my tremendous god-like body (buddha) that I would have to do with the Mrs.

1 MORE THING, since you got me going. back in the day, late 60's. dealers like Yenko or copo, they took the stock machine and did what they wanted to and the lawyers couldnt go after GM. why cant kawie do something simular, but only telling the dealers what to do, or give them a HINT HINT. you know these things should run like a raped ape. we have the big block motors of the atv industry, why do they only compete with the small blocks.

The Prairie 700 has already beaten all of the IRS equipped ATVs from the other brands in pretty much every magazine shootout it has been in. If the magazines rate it higher than even the Brute Force in the next few shootouts I don't think Kawasaki will drop the Prairie. Also keep in mind that the Prairie is still the ATV of choice for Team Green 4x4 class racing; Kawasaki will likely keep their 4x4 racer around for at least a few more years.

ok, so the praire has it's fans and that's cool. ya some people really like the SRA, and it may handle a little better, and may win some magazine shootouts. but think about this, when it comes to selling atv's, that's what the manufacturers care about. and who can afford atv's? well mostlly slightly older people (like 30 and up) not teenagers and stuff who want a really sporty ride. so what do these people look for most in an atv? A SMOOTH RIDE! i know my dad as well as I was sold on IRS as soon as we got our sp500, it just rides sooo much better than an SRA machine. funny thing was his friends rode it and 2 of them also went and bought sp500s shortly their after, once again because it rides so nicely.
look bottom line is this: i don't think kawi will do away with a big bore SRA machine, but most riders who can afford atvs want a smooth ride and IRS gives them that much better than SRA. you can say what you want but IRS has many advantages over SRA and that's why it's taken over the utility atv market. look at all the manufacturers and their big 'top of the line' machine is IRS. just my 2 cents.

I imagine thats what will happen once they get closer to the 1000cc mark they'll realize they need to just make the smaller engines betters so the engine wont get too big for the governments laws. Its the smart thing to do now but they probably wont...they figure most buyers think..hmm...bigger cc's = bigger and better machine..and their right..most do. But it dont have to be that way.
