Brute Force VS. 785 Prairie!!!
I'd love to Mike but I have to take my wife to the airport in Des Moines Friday,,, she's leaving me alone for a week to go visit a friend in N Carolina! Hey, the next harescramble is in Fort Dodge,,, you coming to one of these? September 19th!!!
Sorry minumus, we have tried the rider swaps before and it never makes that much difference! But, on paper it sure does look good! LOL!!!

I have no idea what mine puts out, I'm not sure if Mickey ever put it on a dyno while he had it!
I will be racing them against each other again as soon as I get a chance so I can try it someplace where we can get better traction, with the 9 inchs of rain during the previous week the pasture we were playing in was very soft , just enuf to get a lot of wheel spin but also bring the front ends up a little a carry it out without having to let off. In other words, enuf traction to lift the front end without flipping but still have ther rear wheels spinning and throwing a cool roost!

Beating the brute by 3 length doesn't mean that there isn't a hugh difference in HP. the down fall of the Kawasaki auto is they have such a small clutch as say compared to a snowsled that will go 120 mph.
When both clutches are shifted out the only difference in speed will be if the top RPM are more on one as apposed to the other.
Now if both went up in tire size, after a point, the brute would get slower and the 785 would get faster because it would have the power to turn the extra gearing made by the taller tires.

yep what he said... this is why I'm going to install the Yamaha hubs, & Honda automotive aluminum wheels, so that I can get a 28" O.D. tire, that is safe at speed... I have all the power I can currently use, & am hitting rev limit, before the 1/4 mile, even with 26" tires on... I need the increase in final gear ratio, for increased top speed...
