Brute Force VS. 785 Prairie!!!
Well, I finally got the rear end back in my FST 785 Prairie Friday night and finished it up Sat morning just in time to load it in the trailer with the Brute Force and head to race #5 of the Iowa ATV Harescramble series! All the guys on our team of FD Racing have their own race quads so I took mine to pit ride.
ATV Gurl (Angela) was on the Brute and asked if I wanted to race,,,,,,, her weighing maybe 110 lbs and me at 2?? lbs,,,,, oh yea,,, off we went!
Well, we lined up one modded 700 Prairie, the Brute, and my 785,,,, at the drop of a hat we were gone,,,, I walked away about 4 quad lengths and she was about 3 quad lengths in front of the 700P.
We did this about 3 or four times and each time the results were the same! I was very relieved that I had the power to pull away,,, I was a little nervous that the Brute would almost be able to keep up! I will say that altho I did get out 4 lengths and stay there the Brute did not fall behind from there,,, given enuf space I believe it could and will keep up at top speeds!
Oh, the race also went great, FD Racing took first, second, third, fourth, and fifth places in the Utility class( filled the podium), ATV Gurl took second in the womens, and Randy Meyer took 6th in the B class on his V Force! I'm very proud of the team we have put together, they ride hard, have fun, and always help out others if they need it!
This race was a muddy mess with 9 inchs of rain the week before! There were a few creek crossings that everyone was getting stuck in and all the racers in all the class's were helping each other out along with the track officials. It was a great show of sportsmanship!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brute Force VS. 785 Prairie!!!
The 700 P rider weighs around 185 to 190 I believe, his Prairie is the newest one to our team and had approx. 150 miles on it.
Mods: Diamond G Racing intake snorkel,, DYNA cdi, Dalton springs and face plate,, all racks removed and strut mounts reinforced, OMF beadlock Outlaw rims with MAXXIS Big Horns on them, AC front bumper, FD Racing rear bumper,, other than that we are waiting on some more stuff to come in for it to make it a little faster! He took second at this harescramble..

Brute Force VS. 785 Prairie!!!
Bet you know where I'm going with this.
BF with dyna cdi versus P700.
Rider on p700, 80 lbs heavier 11/2 quads, 4 degree key with dyna 1 1/2 quads or more I pick up 2 mph in 330 feet. Lighter tire wheel setup with mudlites and ITP c series type 6 rims are lighter than stock. 1/2 quad length. That’s 3 1/2 quad lengths better and p700 beats BF with cdi by ½ quad.
I knew the prairie could beat a BF.
Well on paper anyway.
