My kfx700 make a clanking noise when I have my paddle tires and I am going slow on hard sand or gravel. Noise is not there when my dirt tires are on. This is very annoying when travel back to camp. The dealers tell me this is normal anyone else have this problem and if so what do I need to do. Love my bike hate the noise and the clank.

I saw some paddels back when I had My v- force that had a carrier rib in the middle, I had planned to switch to that type of paddle but sold the quad befor I had a chance to. I can't remember what brand they were though. I hatted that sond, thought somthing was flying apart in the trans. I still might get a set for the STP800 when it gets done so if anyone knows what brand that was let me know.

Skat trak makes some like that with a rib down the center. I don't remember what they are called. Seems like they were pretty pricey. They are made so you can ride on hard surfaces too without damaging the paddles. I don't think they do as well as regular paddles in the soft sand though

That clanking is the drive shaft bouncing around. This is normal when you have paddles on at low speed. It goes away when you gas it.

I checked into the Scat traks, that was them. I was however disapoined to se the 25" size absent from the list, i have a set of hauler extreams in 22" left from my short ownership of a V-force, i tryed them on my STP 700 and they killed my top end I couldn't even come close to beating my old P650 in a drag at the dunes. I e-mailed them to see if they might offer that Hawker in the future in a 25". I am not going to reclutch my quad everytime I want to go to the dunes to fix the gearing needed to drop down to a 22" tire. I will let everyone know what they say.

GBC Paddle Masters come in 25 inch size. I saw a Prairie at St.Anthony runnig some last fall, he climbed everything he had them front and rear was unstoppable in the sand. Just an idea.
