What is the top speed for the Mojave. Is it strong all the way through or is it weak at low,mid, or high end.

It will top out around 52mph. It is pretty aggressive through the low and midrange but goes completely flat in 5th gear. It isn't the fastest but I love mine nonetheless. If you enjoy woods riding you will love the Mojave. One of my riding buddies has a 400ex and has a hard time manuvering it in the tighter sections of the trails we ride. Not saying that his machine is bad because it is clearly bigger and faster than mine but the short wheelbase of the Mojave is a real blessing in the woods.

 

I clocked mine with a radar @ 56 mph.

I weigh 270lbs, 13 / 40 gearing, .020 stock compression piston, entire motor is new, 22" tires, UNI air filter, and thanks to JD250R and his suggestion, a Cobra Jet exhaust (which kicks major ***!).
