Default mud and water into the airbox

i've been in a mud competition this weekend.... i won last year whit my former p700...and was hopping winning again this year whit my brand new Brute force 750.
But reality has been a bit different.

just by jumping into the mud hole, my Brute start immediately popping and missing all the power.

after being eliminated whit the poorest time, i've check, and my air box was full
of mud and water.....

i saw on forums that is a commun problems whit the brutes, i've check whit my dealer and he said to me that the problem has not been reported to kawasaki yet ...

he also said that if a found a solution about it, Kawasaki would probably paid
for the modification

is there a solution outhere to prevent the mud and water to get in the airbox easely like that.

thanks

for just under $50 you can make a quality snorkel like I did and just eliminate that problem completely, if you ride in the mud alot I would suggest doing this, it's not worth the risk of getting mud or silt in your engine. That is my one major complaint about the brute, other than that I thinklk it is a decent machine.

Stopped by the dealer today to look at a BF. You can see where the water could wreak havoc on this ATV. Just about to purchase the ATV but not with the possiblity that water is messing the ATV up. Think Kawasaki and/or some 3rd party companies will come to the rescue?
