Default Do I need to use low range to climb hills?

I recently switched from Polaris machines to a Kawasaki BF750, on the Polaris I had to use low to climb hills or I'd smoke the belt, is that the same way with Kawasaki?

Smoke? Not right away, but we prairie owners have been using low range religeously to get maximum belt and pulley life.

Basically the worst things your belt and pulley can do (besides get wet, and or sit a tug against a heavy truck), is to operate a low speeds. Running in low range drastically alleviates the wear associated with driving slow and takeing off.

Your BF750 has more pudding to apply to the belt too, so I think it is just as important if not more for your to go in low.
