that's ridiculous. i think it would have been a smart idea to release this model if they would have given it IRS, but with SRA i just don't see the point. They should have kept the prairie line with SRA and the Brute line with IRS.

Also looks like its back to Kawasaki's standard wheel bolt pattern.... good news for someone who might be wanting to trade to a new bike and use their ITP wheels....

What kinds of problems are the Arctic Cat people having with the Kawi V-twin? Wouldn't the Kawi people be having the same problems?

the 650 v twin is proven .the tranny has some minor belt issues but i never had problems with my prairie and i had 300 hours on it.

i really like it myself i prefer sra to irs i havent honestly spent alot of time on an irs machine but i like the sporty ride af a single axle most of my seat time is on sport quads...plus i think the styleing is way sharper than a prarie i was really likeing the V-force but for a hundred dollers more this would look really good in my garage...

I think it's awesome. Have you ever noticed that whatever a manufacturer puts out, people always bitch and moan about it? It's just never good enough. I know I sound pro-Kawasaki and I suppose I am. I owned a Prairie 650 and never had any problems with it and now they're offering updated styling at an unbeatable price and people are complaining. EFI, IRS BLAH BLAH BLAH enough already. Look at what you get for the price.

I will however, concede that Kawasaki needs to add EFI to its flagship model, the Brute Force 750. If they want to appeal to a broader customer base, they will have to address that issue pronto or they'll fall behind.

It looks to me like the prarrie 700 might not be long for the wolrd. I had herd that the prarrie name was going to be dropped and a the Brute name would take over but I am surprised about them going back to the 650 V-twin. I am now wondering what will become of the Twin peaks. I expected a Brute looking Prarrie chassis Quad but I expected it to have the 750 motor. I am stumped as to what the heck they are doing. I guess a Guy could get one and go with an FST or pennland big bore kit. I still wish Kawi would get with the program and offer more color choices, I am so sick of red/green/camo how about white/silver or black/silver special edditions, I am told that black Vinson and the new black Rini sell as fast as they can get them in.

Who knows, maybe they drop the P700? Doubtfull of course because that would be stupid, but I don't get why they put so many quads in the same size range. Can't be as bad as the Sportsman lineup. Thats just ridiculous. 400, 500, 600, a pair of 700's, and then an 800.

how is that bad? apparently they sell plenty of each size or else they'd be dropping instead of adding. i doubt they drop the prairie lineup, they seem to be a really popular model. i have to admit after having an IRS machine i didn't realize how many people still want a SRA for more sportiness. to me the IRS is so much better.
