I dont really get it. Its basically a resurrection of a quad that was replaced. Who are they targeting here? I guess its supposed to be significant because of the 500 drop in price from the p700. If you are going to spend 6600 bucks, its not nearly as important as when you are looking at a 4500 dollar quad. So why not spend the extra few bucks and get a better machine?
Did they ever fix the trans and other issues with the 633? The ac people are still having fits with their v twins.
I think they missed the mark. They are still too high on the price to be considred a real bargain, especially with the old spec engine. If they really wanted an update they could have just changed the prairie plastics.

I must say I'm a bit confused on this one. I understand it was probably more cost effective to slap new body work on the proven Prairie chasis, use the 650 variant of the twin and price it with the 500 c.c. machines. What I don't understand is where does this leave the 700 Prairie? $500 Is a lot of money for the extra 60 or so c.c.'s and boring bodywork. From a marketing stand point they should have called this what it is, a 650 Prairie and bumped the 700 up to a 750 and restyled them different than the Brute. Although it does look good and mean.
