dynatek kickback

Default dynatek kickback

im happy with cdi, but i have had kick backs. ( has anybody had any, or heard of damage from this.) my two sons 300ex and z400 both kick back all the time, maybe not as noticable as my 03 650. just wondering if i should send mine back or not. frank.

Send it Back. I purchased mine back in April 04 and it started to kickback in September. Write a note of what its doing and send it to the address in your original packaging. Dynatek, 164 S. Valencia St., Glendora, CA 91741
Mine was returned in about a week. Been to busy to install it to see how it works. Hopefull , I fire it up this weekend and install some of my other goodies.

When starting the engine with electric starter, the engine turns over one or two times and then makes an audible "Clank" sound and starter disengages.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]
