only in low, only when pushing uphill, around 3-5 mph, the only time, but its a clunk! Loud enough to make me worry. At low to medium throttle, not all the time, just enough to pucker.
Anything serious? Just had its 100 hour check up and everything looked good then

mine does it 2 CWG.

the last time i fixed it was all in the shift linkage adjustment. now that its doing that, check your motor mount bolts. there's one in the front, goes from side to side. and there's 3 or 4 on each side on the rear. your motor might be loose and its causing the linkage to a little off.

Thanks Terry, I'll do that

Today was fun, not as much fun as going with a riderbuddy- not nearly as brave in the mud!
The place was nearly empty. I followed a group of three sportie's LOL, they were getting stuck and were afraid of nearly everything. They all looked brand new and very, very shiney!
I just putted along right thru the stuff they got stuck in. All in all a good time at Elson street today. I did find a new, very terrifying new mudhole. NO way I'd try it. NO way. its about 20 yards by 50 yards and looked more like a shallow pond than mudhole.
I did find a creek to go screaming up and down in to wash off the bike
I ran 3.5 in the fronts and 3 in the back. Quite a difference. Harder to steer but more stable in the ruts and holes..may leave it there. Better uphill traction- I really didnt have to get off the seat too much.

maybe next week, lemme know

hmm, please refer to previous post.
No, I insist, please, you go first. Really, politeness is everything on the trail.
It looked like a "wait for the dry season and dig it out" kind of hole.
Remember that one long mud run that guy showed us? This is the headwaters of THAT mud run. I wouldn't even want to be around if someone else tried it..for fear of being asked to help them get out

Lots of leaves have dropped. It was a bit slippery on some of the climbs.
The creek runs right behind where we parked. The MajorMud zone was to the left- where we started out straight and went down the road, if we turned hard left right in fron of our trucks it was back....in....there....I wound up spending more time in that area than elsewhere. Sandy trails, rocks, technical hill climbs, stream. Suited the tires perfectly.
