Four Stroke Tech (Mickey Dunlap) has had their CDI for the "V" out for a while and they seem to be working just fine. With Mickey's CDI you may not notice much of a performance gain if you are running a stock KFX700. Mickey will tell ya (and those that have them installed on their bikes) that the more mods you add the more the CDI will "wake-up". Mickey's CDI's curve is made more for modded bikes.....ie, aftermarket cams, big bore kits etc. It is said you will notice an improvement with aftermarket pipes, modded airboxes with re-jetted carbs but not like you will compared to the more "tweaked out" quads. Dynateck just released there CDI for the V-Force about a week ago....have to wait for guys to start putting them in to get some feedback.
