Is it worth it to get the extended warranty?

3 additional years =aprox $375

 

Hi. For $125 / year that is a lot of peace of mind.. If nothing goes wrong you are out $375...but as soon as something does go wrong you are covered, which is nice. My buddy has the Kawi extended warranty and it has already paid for itself. If I had the opportunity to get three years for $ 375 I would jump at it.

where can you find it that cheap?, my dealer told me it would be 500 for two years didnt get it but i am wondering if you can purchase other warranties for cheaper?

3yr = $475

5yr = $575


Also I heard there may be debates on wether certain things will be covered under the warranty or not.

IVE BEEN LOOKING INTO IT AND FOUND THAT MANY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN GETTING BETTER PRICES ON WARRANTY IN THE PAST YEARS

HAS ANYONE BOUGHT ONE RECENTLY?

DO YOU HAVE TO BUY IT BEFORE YOU TAKE THE BIKE FROM THE DEALER

my local kawasaki dealer ( bremerton, washington ) told me the 48 month warranty will cost me less than 400.00 and i would have to purchase the extended warranty before the factory warranty expires, not when i take the machine from them. check with other shops for better prices and coverage policies.
