Does jumping hurt any of the parts on a four wheeler if it has regular rims?

Depends on the machine, how high, how fast, what kind of terrain, whether all of the parts are stock, etc. Lots of factors.

I don't know what difference the wheels make, but like everything else if it's not over done you will be fine. If you bottom the suspension when you land that will kill your quad.

little jumps, & even big jumps if done right ( as mentioned, not bottoming out the suspension ), while not good for your quad, are not particularly hard on it... if you intend to run MX tracks, etc. ... you'll want to put that quad on a diet... the V Forces jump pretty well, when set up properly... if it's one of the smaller / older Prairies, it may be much harder on it... the big Prairies, if you remove the front rack, the shock towers will fold in & break, if a strut tower support is not added... the rear axels on the big Prairies, have been known to split, when bottomed out excessively, unless the V Force rear axel reinforcing ring is added ( you can see a pic of the reinforcing ring, by clicking my camera on this post )

just learn proper technices, throttle to raise front, rear brake to lower front and if you get crooked push down on the high side and turn to the high side. just take it easy and try to land evenly on all fours, that saves the quad!
