dyno jet and hmf for Prairie 700 report
#1
I got my hmf penland exhaust in, and dyno jet kit. After several attempts of needle, jet changes, I went back to the klein needle and jets.
Two days with jetting different combos and could not get it to work right.
The HMF exhaust full pipes really perform but did not fit right. They screwed up on the bend but was able to make them fit with rubber grommets and washers. The quality control with HMF is really lacking. None of the inserts even fit right, like the quiet core and torque range modifier. Everything had to be worked with so it would fit inside pipe.
Enough about the negatives the pipe is kick ***, and loud. Very loud, have not tried the quiet core yet.
With Dyna and pipe Prairie will stand up with ease even in the sand.
