.. Vunit, shouldn't hurt the quad at all because you'll still be breathing thru the filter- which is good. And like I said- if ya plan to go swamp running you can always get a cap wiout the holes. Depending where you ride- if the area is dusty, the filer will be much more exposed to dust and dirt wnad require more frequent cleaning. Ya might need to rejet the carb also. Pull your spark plug to check how you're burning then.
