Default BF 750 gass mileage

i have just made the 10 hour mark and it was fun all the way, got to up to about 60 on a gravel road and it got kind of "lose", i think i'll need tires but thats a diff. topic. I am wondering what kind of gass mileage this thing will get? i have 29.5 miles on it and the gas light started to flash at me.. i hope it gets better.

I put over 40 hard miles on mine yesterday and it still had 3 bars of gas left. Took about 3 gallons to fill it back up. And put another 30+ on it today and it took about 2.5 more gallons today. It's gas mileage isn't as bad as I expected really out of such a large displacement machine. Bringing it in for it's 60 mile service tomorrow. I hope you are enjoying yours as much as I am

MY worst was 10.6mpg in 4x4Low on a grueling 20 mile ride in Colorado last August. My best has been 17.6MPG, with about 90% in 4x2High. I avg around 16MPG with 50/50 riding in 4x4/4x2.

I haven't had any engagement/disengagement problems with the 4wd as of yet personally. It seems a little more picky than my eiger which is stricltly manual lever control.
