does anybody else have a problem with this on there lakotas or is it just because i jump mine to high?

 

my mojave hasn't broke them yet and i have non working shocks

 

i dont have any shocks left either. Do the mojave and kota have the same motor mounts

where did you get your billet brake res. lid?

 

i have some that i bondo in the writing then paint and they look cool but i got the billet one from moose for a z-400 and it fits my eiger and mojave so i would assume that just about anything but a honda or yamaha one will work....try bondoing the words in though that looks cool and use some anodizit paint or you can go out and buy a front brake resivior for a dirt bike and put it on there cause then you get a shorty lever which i feel increases your control cause you only need on finger to grab it...

 

oh no the mojave and 'kota dont' have the same mounts but check out ebay first....i am getting some z-400 shocks because i am pretty sure they will work on the mojave with a little modding...plus i gain some ground clearance and it's already darn near 51 inches wide so i'm not too concerend about center of gravity LOL

 

Since I bought a KX250 to rob the motor out of I am going to use the brake res. The main reason is its not so bulky. The bike already had the msr shorty on it. Who makes a shorty or similar for the brake side.So I guess I would have to find a billet for a KX250.
