If we are being technical, the different fender height is because the plastic is molded differently, and shaped so that it is higher. A higher bolt on riser is then needed because of the differently molded plastic.

 

So we will probably see the BF750 upped to 800 and likewise the BF650 upped then to 700.

 

If they up the 650 to a 700, and the 750 to an 800, which one will have the SRA like 700Hemi stated earlier? Ya know, this really shouldn't be this confusing...but it is.

sorry about that, I thought you were talking about current honda's, I don't remember that much about late 80's honda's. I had an 86 or 87 i cant't rember for sure fourtrax 250 utility that replaced my 82 big red, thats about all i know about 80's honda.

Well, I haven't heard anything about Kawi droppin the Prairie's. I work at a Kawi dealership I'm one of their mechanics so I don't work up front that much but when I see our Kawi Rep pull up, I run up front to try to get some sneak peeks from him. He keeps me up to date and stuff and he hasn't said anything about droppin the Prairie's. Of course, some stuff is on the down low. Well, maybe since they made the 650 brute, they are doin some changes. Whats the use of makin a smaller atv with a prairie frame and drivetrain and Brute plastics?? Somethins goin on. Like all of you said, probably just doin a name change and plastic redesign. I love the looks of the Brutes and the Prairies. Im just hopin for the 450 sport atv when they send out the new KX450F motocrosser! I'm ready to see the 450 atv kickin some yammerhaw **** and Honda ****!

I guess if they do away with the Prairie, you could get a Twin Peaks 700. Same thing right? Are all parts interchangeable between those two?
